Introducing the New Middle School Honors Academy

The Brockton Public Schools is proud to announce the creation of a new Middle School Honors Academy opening at every middle school and the Davis K-8 School in fall 2022. This new program will significantly increase the number of students who are participating in higher level coursework right at their neighborhood school.

Courses will be rigorous, student-centered, and designed to develop critical and creative thinking through problem-based learning experiences tied to the National Junior Honor Society Pillars of Scholarship, Leadership, Character, Service and Citizenship.

Aligned to Massachusetts standards, courses will develop inquiry, analysis, collaboration, research, planning, reflection, and metacognition.

Please review the list of commonly asked questions here. We will provide application information to every student in grades 5-7 later this spring.
